A coiffure set against the backdrop of the surface of Neptune will surely bring out the devil in all of us, and for one unlucky goose, this proved no exception. Here the artist questions notions of personal vanity: are we tethered to social notions of decorum, much as a fez-adorned pachyderm whose rider is a rodent? Or are we simply inter-dimensional pigs, trapped as we gaze quizzically at our pointless pursuit of beauty? A sun casting black rays and a moon haloed by a ring of malformed wraiths bring no comfort to the sight of a cloven-hooved demon, smiling as it sprays unidentified fluid from its outstretched appendages. Cheerful yet disturbing, this celebration of color may make you want to turn your head and coif (if not curl up and dye).
