What’s in the roll of the dice, anyway? Life’s a gamble, no matter how you spin it. So, in that cast you seize it by the throat and wrangle it to the earth, pinning it in place with all the force that heaven allows for mortal men to muster. That’s right, do it now, for hell may care what carcass you leave behind for worms to gnaw, but skyward bound is the sum of your actions. Square your bet against banality: it’s no safer than your heart’s desire, and no one’s getting out of here alive. (Requiescat in pace, stochastic bastard.)
